Tales from the Frontline: Talk by Jonathan Rugman
‘Tales from the Frontline’ is a King’s Talk to be given by Jonathan Rugman who is Foreign Affairs Correspondent for Channel 4 News. It will include illustrative film clips. The talk is on Tuesday 2nd October at 7:40 pm in the School Room.
Jonathan Rugman is an award winning Foreign Affairs Correspondent with UK’s Channel 4 News. With over twenty years newsroom experience, Jonathan has reported from some of the world’s toughest conflict zones, from where he has reported and analysed unfolding political and social situations. He has reported from the revolutions and uprisings in Syria, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Bahrain and has covered stories as diverse as Somalia’s famine, corruption in world football, the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean, the Eurozone crisis and the Haiti earthquake. His reporting from North America, Europe, Asia and Africa has won several awards including a BAFTA for his reporting on the terrorist attacks in Paris.
