Launching in September 2019, this loan scheme aims to support practical science teaching in state schools in and around Canterbury and is fully funded by the King’s School, Canterbury, as part of its partnerships programme.

The kit initially available has been selected to meet the needs of the required practicals for physics at GCSE. In future the kit might be extended to cover other STEM subjects.

Schools who join the scheme will be able to borrow kit to use in class practicals and demonstrations free of charge.  Schools arrange to collect and drop off the kit at The King’s School.

Each box contains a contents list, manufacturers’ instructions and any further instructions.

Membership of the scheme is dependent upon signing a membership agreement, attending a training course and contributing to our impact evaluation.  The training course on 5^th June 2-4pm is required for membership in 2019-20.
